Not in a year and I am struggling to stay optimistic...

I know. The man inherited a load of s**t from his predecessor. But, I want bold action that rocks the boat off the sandbar.

A second stimulus in the form of job creation - put everybody to work. The place needs it, its a dump.

Break up the big banks. I know all about free markets and government staying out of them. But, the bankers are not suffering despite the bailouts at taxpayers' expense.

Public Option - robust and real with no state opt out.

Afghanistan stabilized, Iraq finished, Israel brought to its knees alongside the Palestineans...

I want a country that values life. I want a culture that sees education as a self-fulfilling and lifelong activity. I want a culture that accepts that the world is full of people, not American, who have every right to be better, wealthier, and freer than we are. I want a culture that prides itself on quality of life not quantity of stuff. I want a culture that enjoys living and lets others enjoy living. I want a culture that finds happiness in sharing happiness with others. I want a culture that's grown up.
